And the Beat Goes On

Earlier this week, Ratcatcher posted a note entitled A Party of Thugs. Today we bring you additional evidence that the Democrats have become Soviet-style dictators, terrorizing their political opponents.

Wednesday, well-known television salesman, Mike Lindell, claims that he was served with a search warrant for, among other things, his cell phone. Lindell has appeared in several Christian-themed motion pictures, most especially, Unplanned concerning abortion. Needless to say, he has become a target of the Left for his religious views. But Lindell also made the mistake of speaking out forthrightly on behalf of President Donald Trump. For that, the Biden DOJ will not forgive him and has made him a target of their illegal wrath.

Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C. reports that the Justice Department is pursuing five years’ of records of Eagle Forum, a conservative organization in Alabama as part of a lawsuit challenging an Alabama law that prohibits sex change treatments for minors.

Eagle Forum of Alabama is a vocal supporter of Alabama’s Vulnerable Child Compassion and Protection Act. One might reasonably ask what possible business it is of the U.S. Department of Justice to challenge the Alabama law. But more importantly, on what possible grounds can the DOJ justify demanding the private records of this organization. Neither the state affiliate nor the national Eagle Forum is a party to the lawsuit. There is only one explanation for the search warrant – intimidation of Eagle Forum. The message is clear – “We know where you are; we know how to hurt you economically; shut up and get in line.”

These search warrants are clearly over-broad and probably unconstitutional on their faces. The question that begs to be answered is who the judges or magistrates are who are signing off, approving these warrants. America has the right to know who is helping the FBI and the DOJ to subvert American justice. Ratcatcher has been warning of this over-reach by the government for a long time. It is accelerating and no one seems ready to stand and fight. Where are the Republican leaders making speeches on the floor of the Congress naming names and decrying the illegal and Soviet actions of the DOJ? Where are the crows of peaceful protestors outside the home of Merrick Garland, Christopher Wray and the judges who are signing these warrants? And, as we have asked before, where are the FBI agents and the Deputy Attorneys General, each sworn to uphold the Constitution who are looking the other way rather than resigning in protest over the illegal actions of their superiors?
