Democrats Hate the Poor and Minorities

It is far past time for the American public to demand that the Democrat Party be called to account for its historical and well-documented actions that have damaged the poor and minorities. The list is far too long to be detailed here. However, the following will serve as illustrations of those actions, many of which continue to this day.

It is indisputable that the Democrats were the American slaveowners. They fought to Civil War to retain the right to continue slavery. Why is that overlooked today? Why do we not hear much about that fact from black leaders? If was, after all, the “original sin” of the American experience maintained and supported by the Democrats.

When the Civil War ended, the Democrats promoted the Ku Klux Klan for the express purpose of frustrating the accomplishments of the Civil War. The Dems were not giving up. That resistance continued well into the 20th Century, and included the shameful actions of Southern Democrats segregating schools, public buildings, and facilities, and then culminated in their obstruction of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, enacted on the strength of Republican legislators, not Democrat.

Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, was an avowed eugenicist. Notice where the Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are located. The result has been a disproportionate number of black babies aborted. PP will argue that these abortions were for the good of the mothers. Another explanation may simply be that Planned Parenthood is carrying out the objective of its founder.

Drive around the large, Democrat-controlled cities of this nation and note the number of homeless people strung out on drugs. In order to “help” them, the Democrats are handing out free needles, drugs, and now crack pipes. As if there were not enough illicit drugs in the streets already, the Biden Administration has effectively opened up the Southern Border of America to the Mexican drug lords to pour millions of additional doses of deadly drugs onto our streets. That’s helping the poor, right? Note to Self: Where does the fentanyl originate? China? Any Biden connection there?]

Democrat-sponsored and maintained welfare programs that require that the father of dependent children not live in the home have devastated American poor families, particularly among Blacks. The result: 70% and higher of black children grow up in families without fathers present. Black men have no incentive to act responsibly nor to parent their children. Family damage is terrific!

Democrat pandering and condescension to the poor, and especially Black population, is shameful. The current campaign for a federal voting system is premised on the lie that poor people do nor and cannot obtain proof of identity sufficient to eliminate rampant voter fraud. Democrats treat them like infant children or the slaves that used to work the fields owned by their fathers. Shameful.

Ratcatcher has been surprised and disappointed by how slowly the poor and minorities have awakened to the fact that the Democrats really despise them and use them only to gain and retain power. That seems to be changing. It cannot change quickly enough. It is time for those people to throw off the yoke of the Democrat Party; reject its stranglehold on your vote; let them know they can no longer take your vote for granted. Look around. See who is really promoting your interests and values – vote for them.
