Giving Thanks

Ratcatcher believes that we all should be thankful and express our gratitude to those who give or make possible the things we value in life. It is never too early to celebrate Thanksgiving and so we intend to do so here and now.
Usually, people focus their expressions of gratitude and thanksgiving around God, friends, or family. Those are, of course. Worthy of our thanks and we should express that thanks more often than most of us do.
Today, however, the focus of our thanks is none other than President, Joe Biden. Many of you will immediately react wondering what on earth we have to thank him for. Ratcatcher has compiled a list. Doubtless you will be able to add to the list. We think we ought to say a hearty “Thank you” to the Commander in Chief for:
Food prices that you cannot afford;
Gasoline and other fuel that, after an artificially induced decline are once again rising;
Empty shelves of baby food;
A Vice-President who does not know the difference between North and South Korea;
A southern border awash in illegal immigrants;
Out-of-control federal government spending;
A crashing stock market brought on by governmentally induced inflation;
A recession for which the Washington Post says we should be grateful for the benefits it is bringing;
The disgrace in which America is regarded internationally due to the disastrous abandonment of Americans, allies, and equipment in Afghanistan;
Skyrocketing crime in our nation’s streets;
A Staci-like FBI and deeply corrupt Department of Justice.
We admit this list is incomplete. We have much more for which to thank Mr. Biden, but space and time forbid it. We leave it to you to complete the list.
Ratcatcher does have one very heartfelt wish, however. We sincerely wish that the creators of the wonderfully inspired “I did that” sticker that features the President’s smiling face adorning gas pumps across the country had created additional forms of the sticker that could be used by all of us to celebrate all of President Biden’s great accomplishments.
