Kill ‘Em All!

As we approach the mid-term elections this November, the issue of a federal abortion law is looming over the discussion. The Supreme Court overruled Roe vs. Wade in June, sending the issue of abortion back to the several states where it properly belongs. That is unacceptable to Democrats since some states think abortion is wrong and ought to be prohibited. The Dems are not satisfied with the unlimited abortion laws in California and New York as well as other states. They are apoplectic about states that have banned it altogether. That cannot be allowed, they scream with red faces and bulging veins.

So, as we approach the election, America is confronted with an interesting set of issues. Vote for Democrats who will vote for a federal, nation-wide law permitting unlimited abortion while ignoring all other issues. Republicans ought to run campaign ads along these lines: “Would you rather kill babies or eat, buy gasoline and pay your rent?” The Democrats are fixated on abortion; they think that Mr. Biden’s catastrophic economy is just fine; you will learn to live with less and love it! That’s the unstated but very clear message. At the same time, you will pay for unlimited abortions financed by the federal government.

There it is: Bread, gas and rent or abortion. Make your choice!
