Let's Go Brandon Hypocrisy

Ever since NBC reporter, Kelli Stavast erroneously described the chanting of the 2021 Sparks 300 Race at Talladega Superspeedway, people, predominantly on the right, began using the slogan at sporting events to express their dissatisfaction and unhappiness with Joe Biden. During the four year term of Donald Trump as President, Democrats vilified him overtly with filthy and disgusting slogans, pictures, and chants. Those were explicit. There was no attempt to hide or disguise the message. There was no attempt on the part of the chanting Democrats to soften or modify the filthy language. But now, when Republicans, Independents, and others simply want to express their opinions, they are accused of insurrection. They are threatened on social media. Others make the risible claim that the Brandon chant is somehow improper speech because it is aimed at a sitting president. One might reasonably ask, “What was Donald Trump? Chopped liver?”

This is simply one more of a seemingly endless parade of hypocritical claims by the Left whether the claims relate to the importance and morality of fences, guns, masks, or chants.
