No Regrets?

Thursday, January 19, 2023, President Biden announced to the world that he had no regrets about the manner in which he has handled confidential national security-related documents. Never mind that it is clear that he has and continues to this day to violate the law concerning possession and handling of those documents. He wants us to know he has no regrets. That may stem from his confidence that his buddy in the Department of Justice [Merrick Garland] will protect him from all adverse consequences. So Biden can claim, “there is no there there” as if that answered all of the questions about his clear violation of the law.

But Ratcatcher thinks that Biden’s lack of regret is actually a great deal broader and more sweeping. If one bothers to listen to him, admittedly a hard task, or read what he has said, it becomes clear that Biden’s lack of regret extends to a long laundry list of other errors he has committed since his inauguration.

Based on his public statements, Biden does not regret attempting to destroy the oil and gas industries of America.

He does not regret his disastrous pull-out from Afghanistan and the devastation, equipment loss, and deaths of American military as well as Afghan allies that followed that decision.

Biden does not regret his lies about the Southern Border, the midnight lights across the country delivering illegal aliens to unsuspecting communities, and the damage to the local economies of the border states.

Biden seems not to regret the deaths of over 100,000 Americans poisoned by Chinese/Mexican cartel produced fentanyl imported over the open “secure” [laugh here!!] border.

Joe Biden has no regrets about the deaths and wounding of hundreds of law enforcement officers victimized by the rhetoric of Biden, Harris, and the rest of the Democrat establishment demonizing the police.

Mr. Biden does not regret promoting and forcing through the Congress an irresponsibly bloated financial bill in December in order to prevent the newly elected Republican House of Representatives from asserting some fiscal discipline.

There are numerous other items of malfeasance that Joe Biden does not regret (if he can even remember what they were), but the rest of us have one BIG regret – electing Joe Biden. That was a monumental error we will regret a long time.
