Put ‘Em On A Plane

The news is full of images of trashed hotel rooms in New York City. The “trashers” are, apparently, the illegal migrants that Mayor Eric Adams has chosen to house there rather than in the brand-new tent city erected at huge cost by the City of New York. Adams’ reasoning, like most of his decisions, is opaque. The hotels are costing the city about $500.00 per night per room. Ratcatcher assumes that the owners of the hotels, being savvy businesspeople, most likely negotiated an agreement with Mr. Adams by which the City of New York will pay for the complete remodeling of the hotels once the migrants have vacated. Judging from the images on the television, that cost will be high.

As usual, no one in the Democrat Party seems to have even the slightest idea what to do about this. Of course, underlying the entire mess is that fact that the Democrats, and Mr. Biden in particular, have intentionally fostered the immigration crisis – it is not an accident.

But the City of New York and, eventually, the people of the State of New York and further eventually, all of us, will end up bearing the cost for this misguided, dishonest and cynical effort by the Democrats to remake America and change the demographics of the country.

The newly elected Republican majority in the House of Representatives have an opportunity to do something, at least symbolically and, perhaps, ultimately to effect a change of policy. They should adopt a bill requiring that all illegal immigrants be placed on airplanes and sent back to the nations from which they came. The cowards in the Senate will not support that and, even if they did, the Criminal in Chief would veto the bill, but the people of America would be introduced to a concept that has, so far, not been discussed openly and certainly not within the progression, liberal, radical media. It is time that ordinary Americans got a chance to speak up on this subject; to learn what it is actually costing all of us to indulge in Biden’s criminal activity and the efforts of the Dems to remake the face of America. Maybe a real groundswell of opinion might rise up and throw them out! In the famous words of President Trump: “What have you got to lose?”
