Reflections

The inauguration of Joe Biden as the 46th President sent shock waves across America. Even though the results of the election had been known since early November, 2020, few Americans had thought deeply about what it meant. Ratcatcher does not have a crystal ball nor a wire into the secret meetings of the White House. But Ratcatcher had been listening to Mr. Biden and his minions for some time. Ratcatcher was also familiar with his political history. We assumed that we could predict Biden’s future from his past. We decided to watch; we decided to “go silent” for while to see whether Mr. Biden fulfilled our fears or lived up to his promises. Eleven months into the Biden presidency it is clear beyond dispute that Joe Biden is in over his head in the presidency. His incompetency and diminished capacity are clear for all to see, featured on the nightly news as we watch him stumble through press conferences, confess that he is not supposed to answer questions on a particular topic, and then abruptly pivot and leave the podium. We are left to wonder who is in charge; who is writing his script and issuing orders to him? Most troubling: who is directing national security policy behind the curtain. Can Mr. Biden even complete his term as President? Can America survive the ascendancy of Kamala Harris to the presidency? We have now seen exactly how Mr. Biden will fulfill our fears. He has exceeded even our darkest nightmares.

We have waited and watched long enough. The evidence is clear. The election of Joe Biden was an unmitigated disaster for America. Ratcatcher intends to return to the fray. We expect to comment frequently on events around the country, national and otherwise.
