The REAL Purpose for the Raid

For a week America has been consumed with the question of why the FBI and the Department of Justice would mount a raid on the former President’s home in Florida. Courtesy of DOJ leaks, we have been informed that President Trump had refused to turn over “classified documents;” that he was harboring “nuclear secrets;” and then that there was a secret source inside Mar-a-Lago who provided information about President Trump. All of these leaks came out despite the fact that Attorney General Merrick Garland told us that he couldn’t discuss the details of the raid, but he said they would come out “in the appropriate way at the appropriate time.” Is leaking “the appropriate way?”

Well, now we may actually be getting closer to the truth. According to Newsweek, the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago because the Deep State feared that Donald Trump had been collecting material throughout his presidency related to the Russia hoax which he might be able to “weaponize” against the agencies if he became president again.

Think about that for a minute. For four years President Trump and the entire nation were inundated with an unending string of lies accusing him of every imaginable crime, including treason for colluding in some fashion with Russia. All of these absurd claims turned out false. Adam Schiff was documented on video tape for the liar that he is. John Brennan and James Clapper were shown to be the liars that they are, attempting a coup together with Hillary Clinton, James Comey, Lisa Page, Peter Strzok, Kevin Clinesmith, Andrew Weissmann and Ron Rosenstein, among others. If we, the people, have a fairly complete record of the lying and flagrant attempts to overthrow the duly elected president, how much more is it likely that he has a more complete and compelling record?

Conservative news outlets are filled with the complaints of citizens who protest that miscreants such as those named above have skated with no consequences for their actions. Ordinary citizens committing similar actions would have been prosecuted, convicted and sentenced to prison by this time. Not one of the people mentioned above has been prosecuted with the exception of Kevin Clinesmith who has already been reinstated as an attorney. Is it unreasonable to believe that Mr. Trump, if he is reelected to the presidency, will take up the cause of the rest of us to see that justice is done to those who attempted to subvert our entire governmental system?
